BODEGA EL NÍSPERO
El Níspero albillo fermentado en barrica
Dry white aged 3 months in barrel from 100% Albillo Criollo grapes
La Palma

What this wine tells us
The natural evolution of this variety which vintners are using more and more (though not always as successfully as in the present instance). We like the delicate wooden flavor, although there is always a doubt as to what is the best choice for this variety. It is very clean, direct, shows prominent white flowers like jasmine and vanilla undertones. It doesn’t lose its authenticity and improves in the bottle. On the palate, it is delicate, has fine wood tannins, but very tasteful and, above all, persistent.

Its dancing partner
Great with a traditional stew made with flour.

Trivia
The winery only produces 800 bottles of this wine every year and charges accordingly. We love the delicacy of the oak from semi-toasted Hungarian casks.
