BODEGA CUMBRES DE ABONA
Testamento Dry
Dry white from 100% aromatic Malvasia grapes
Abona Protected Designation of Origin

What this wine tells us
A sweeter, more roasted, more caramelized Malvasia with more body than usual on the Canary Islands. A perfect combination of saline and oily elements that gives it a significant depth and complexity. Without a doubt, the quality that is achieved under the Denomination of Origin Abona confirms the grape’s and the area’s potential, placing it among the great and historic varieties that will keep Canary wines in the international conversation.

Its dancing partner
Splendid with cured Majonero cheese.

Trivia
Apart from being one of the most interesting and most reputable, we overheard a comment at the winery: “the variety honors its name ‘mal-vacía’ (badly-empty), given its highly limited production.” A curious notion with which many might not agree.
