FRONTÓN DE ORO WINERY
Fronton de Oro Malpais
Red aged in barrel from Listán prieto (70%), Listán negro (15%) and Tintilla (15%) grapes
Gran Canaria Protected Designation of Origin

What this wine tells us
One of the wines that has placed Gran Canaria again in the wine-growing panorama of the archipelago. Very interesting because of its aroma of minerality and black pepper. Very pleasant to drink, round, fleshy but not fleeting. Reveals perfectly the good wine of the Island’s inland.

Its dancing partner
It is a must with a good charcoal-grilled rib eye steak.

Trivia
It still seems strange to see the wines of this winery on menus or professional publications in the US wine market. Without noticing, they turned into great ambassadors of the Island in the United States.
