What this wine tells us
A variety that is full of stories, especially on El Hierro, where it is even finer and more elegant. The color is of low-intensity, but very attractive and crisp. The aromas mix fruits with vegetables, which results in a wine with very frank aromas that exudes typical features in every sip. On the palate, it is very fine, supple, delightful, and well matured. It is a polyvalent wine that goes well with meat, fish, and cheese.

Its dancing partner
Wonderful with chicken breast stuffed with grated cheese from El Hierro.

Trivia
The red Verijadiego is a variety that has been rescued in this century because, in former days, there was no tradition of producing wine solely from this grape, “even though it is a very interesting variety that occurs only in very limited areas,” according to researcher, Rafael Armas.
