What this wine tells us
If there is something that defines this wine, it is its typical character, continuous for many years, with more or less attractive harvests but it always maintains its style of a well-made Listán Negro from Northern Tenerife. Is shows more fruit than the average: black ripe fruit mixed with shades of yogurt. Pepper and spiced nuances. A very lively and tasteful red that portrays its origin and its manufacturer to perfection.
Its dancing partner
Very nice with a chickpea stew.
It always incorporates small amounts of carbonic macerated wines, which grants a higher presence of fruit than other Listán wines. Even though, as far as the elaboration is concerned, it is a traditional wine, I wouldn’t define it as such, but rather as a young wine that is at the height of any other region of Spain.
