Táganan
White made from Torrontés, Vijariego, Malvasia, Verdello, Listán blanco and Forastera grapes, among others

What this wine tells us
A “parage white”, as the oenologist likes to call it, that is, the combination of multivarietals and multi-plots from more than 17 hard-working viticulturists in Taganana. Its characteristic feature is the salinity that is absorbed through the soil due to proximity to the sea of vineyards that are located between 60 and 180 meters above sea level. It has hints of roasting and esparto. A wine that still has to develop and grow a bit; for now it is still very austere. On the palate, it is dry, saline, with some tannins and a good acidity.

Its dancing partner
Very nice with mackerel fish balls.

Trivia
A wonderful project that brings local viticulturists back to the land and back to being enthusiasts. It has also put Taganana (and its “Jurassic” method of cultivation) on the global wine map.
