What this wine tells us
A remarkable artisanal creation, which, through the careful sorting of the scarce grapes of the region and the good offices of supportive neighbors, results in a very intriguing wine in its aromatic phase, with typical notes of Moscatel reminiscent of rose petals and jasmine. On the palate, it is full-bodied, with little acidity, a slightly bitter background, and a long finish. A worthy representative of a great region.

Its dancing partner
Great with an appetizer of blackened pork shank.

Trivia
Like many other locations in Gran Canaria, Agüimes once had a wine-growing tradition, but it disappeared entirely. It has been revived through the enthusiasm of a small group of vintners supported by their neighbors and the municipality. The harvest barely amounts to 3.000 kilograms of grapes, red and white together, and therefore, at harvest, each branch must be patiently and individually handled, and sometimes the grapes even have to be picked one by one.
