BODEGA MONDALÓN PICACHOS
Mondalón dulce
Sweet wine made from Moscatel, Malvasia and Albillo grapes
Gran Canaria Protected Designation of Origin

What this wine tells us
A Gran Canaria classic, that has remained on the market for many years, despite the general difficulty of selling these types of productions. None of the varieties stands out aromatically, but each one contributes equally, Moscatel with floral notes, Malvasia with herbal nuances, and Albillo with hints of fruit: a pure balance of flavors. On the palate, it is sweet, but measured, and does not cloy thanks to just the right acidity and a delicate bitter touch.

Its dancing partner
Nice with gofio mousse.

Trivia
Mondalón is one of the brands that recover the “mountain wine” of Gran Canaria, a very traditional area of volcanic vineyards. Today, their products are growing thanks to the energy of a next generation of wine enthusiasts.
