What this wine tells us
I might be influenced in advance because I am familiar with the surroundings and the marvelous estate in the Agaete valley, but this wine smells like oranges. Not like citrus, but rather like orange blossoms or jam; it is fragrant and intense. Once you have smelled it you will always recognize it. On the palate, it is pleasant, with a balanced acidity and the broad appeal of a commercial wine, without being easy and boring. A wine that is designed to drink and enjoy.

Its dancing partner
Superb with a marinated octopus appetizer.

Trivia
The unusual cultivation system of shades from huge vines in an area of distinctly subtropical climate gives these grapes a freshness that is distinct in itself. A perfect example of how to adapt a vineyard to its environment.
