What this wine tells us
The winery’s new twist and Agustín’s effort to make a contemporary wine for an audience that wants to be surprised with every sip. Its careful presentation, its cutting-edge elaboration, its thorough selection from the vineyard until the locating in the market turn this wine into one of the great reds from the archipelago. It is a complex wine but does not need oxygen: it is great from the beginning and you will not tire of smelling it throughout the meal. The fine oak is present but doesn’t hide its spiced and fruity qualities. Meaty, round, and tasteful, with a long aftertaste and storage capacity.
Its dancing partner
Fantastic with cod prepared with tomatoes and onions.
During its short life it has already received quite a few local and international awards. The most common judgment by non-experts is: “it doesn’t seem like a wine from the Canary Islands!” Maybe this wine is closer to what we would like the Canary wine to be.
